The way of a woman

An image labeled "last Spring" depicts the G.O.P. elephant, dressed in a lace shirt and skirt (Miss. G.O.P.), contemplating the portrait of President Coolidge (Coolidge third term) and commenting, "I do hope he doesn't ask me to marry him." A second image, "last Summer," shows Miss G.O.P. shocked to recieve a letter that says "I do not choose to." The next image, "last Fall," shows an excited Miss G.O.P. on a phone call. A last image, "this Winter," depicts a crying Miss G.O.P. holding Coolidge's portrait as she declares, "O-o-o, Calvin, you've broken my hear-r-rt!
