A difficult patient

In a hospital room (violent ward), a man (suffering public) jumps out of bed in pain after a hot water bottle (present hot spell) has been placed under him by a nurse (old nurse weather man). The nurse carries a dripping block of ice (recent chilly weather) and comments, "if he isn't kickin' about the cold, it's the heat that worries him--I haven't heard a kind word from him in years!"
